"Good Sportsmanship is a Credit to Man"
MRGC strives to promote the interest of good clean sport with rod, gun, and dogs; to enforce the laws for the protection of fish and game; to create a fraternal and social organization for the betterment of its members; to educate the members socially, mentally, and intellectually; and to perpetuate among its members a spirit of friendliness and sociability.

About
Steeped In History
In 1925, a small group of Methuen hunters gathered to start a sportsman's club. Incorporated in 1934, MRGC was built on shooting sports, dog trials, and conservation. MRGC is one of the oldest gun clubs in the area.
In 1950, the club was moved to it's current location on Tyler Street after a series of setbacks including a clubhouse fire and loss of land forced relocation. The club now occupies 42 acres that span across Methuen and Dracut, Massachusetts.
Our clubhouse contains a main hall, kitchen, and a 4 place pistol range in the basement. Outside is a multi-station field archery range, a trap field and associated fieldhouse, and a 100 yard rifle/pistol range.
With a mission for hunter and shooter education and community involvement, MRGC offers trap shooting and shooting safety and hunter education courses.

Our recently upgraded Trap range is ATA Certified! It features a state-of-the art shot screen, Pat Trap machine for singles, doubles, and handicaps, brand new voice callers, range lights, and is close proximity to our warm up hut. Over 27,000 targets are thrown each season during the summer trap league alone, never mind the additional targets launched for open trap sessions on Monday nights (summer) and Saturday mornings (year round).
